INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Humankind Medical General Practice, Rosanna Clinic. It is our goal to provide and promote health all who come seeking to improve their wellbeing. Our team members are dedicated to perform and to maintain the highest standards in their respective roles, in order to achieve this goal.

Other than general diagnostic and management, we also services shared maternity care with Mercy Hospital, local nursing homes and home visits for our disable and palliative patients. In addition, minor surgical procedure, immunisations and wound management are provided on site.

As a part of the local medical services, we maintain close links to regional tertiary hospitals, and other service providers, as to facilitate the needs of our patients

Monday to Friday            9:00AM to 6:00PM

 

BILLING

We are a private billing clinic.

Our private consultation fees reflect closely to AMA suggested schedules by the time of consultations:

Level B consultations      $90

Level C consultations      $165

Level D Consultations      $220

 

 

BOOKING APPOINTMENTS

Generally appointments are scheduled by booking only. We would normally reserve appointments on the day for acute assessment of patients who needs help acutely. SMS reminder services also available only for consented patients. Booking online from our website and or via Health Engine.  Nursing home and home visits are scheduled individually.

 

INTERPRETATION SERVICES

At consultation interpretation services are available from international medical interpreters. If you have any language translation needs, please let our admin staffs know at the time of booking

 

RESULTS AND FOLLOWUP

When testings are ordered, you would be contacted by one of our team members when results are ready. Non-urgent results contacts are generally made by our administration staff. Urgent results will be delivered by our medical staff.

We would also contact you for reminders placed earlier for specific health needs.

 

COMMUNICATION POLICY

Patient can contact us directly on phone and in person. Standard identification x3 would be required prior to communications. Patient can also email us questions online, and will be answered by phone, per identification needs. No identifiable information on electronic communication will be allowed unless encrypted and recipients for referral and care arrangements requirement only.

SMS is only available for consented patients and for appointment reminders only.

 

PRIVACY AND HEALTH INFORMATION

All patient information is private, and confidentiality of patient information are maintained at all times. The rights of every patient are to be respected.  All information collected in providing a health service is deemed to be private and confidential.

Our practice complies with Federal and State privacy regulations including the Privacy Act 1998, the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 and Victorian Health Records Act 2001 as well as the standards set out in the RACGP Handbook for the Management of Health Information in Private Medical Practice 1st Edition (2002).  (Refer Section 6 Privacy and Security of Health Information).

FEEDBACK AND COMPLAINTS RESOLUTION

We hold regular patient surveys for practice improvement formally and any feedbacks are welcome. Feel free to speak to one of our team members or drop us a line on info@humankindmedical.com.au Actual adverse events/ Complaints forms are available from our front desk staff.

 

AFTERHOURS

We have a formal arrangement with doctor-doctor to cover for afterhours 13 26 60.
